Have multiple email accounts on your iPhone and wondering how to get custom signatures for all of them? There’s little app in Cydia called Mail Enhancer that allows just that. You can have custom signatures for each individual email address as well as set different sounds for mail within the settings panel. Hit the jump for a quick walk-through!
You won’t see an icon for Mail Enhancer on your springboard. You’ll have to go into your settings and then you’ll find it. Once you’re in it, simply toggle it to on. You’ll now see a ton of options for customizing and tweaking mail settings further than stock iOS lets you. You can also choose to have Mail Enhancer auto-recognize HTML as well. This is nice if you want to send richer e-mail than just plain text.
If you’d like to use custom sounds for mail, you can use any iOS sound file on your device as well as import your own into iTunes ringtones. (If they don’t show up after making them or downloading them, simply re-spring and relaunch Mail Enhancer).
Any signature changes you make via Mail Enhancer will automatically flow through to the default mail app. Simply toggle between your mail accounts and choose the e-mail you’d like to send mail from. The signature will automatically change to whatever you have pre-defined in Mail Enhancer.
This is personally a tweak well worth the .99 it goes for in Cydia. If you’ve tried it out or use it, let us know your thoughts in the comments!

The airline is rolling out iPads to its pilots to replace up to 25 pounds of paper flight manuals. The app that is being used for this is the excellent GoodReader document viewer:
… that is loaded with PDF versions of 41 flight, systems and performance manuals, reference cards, and other materials. The electronic manuals include hyperlinks and color graphics, enabling pilots to find information faster and easier.
And the airline may soon be expanding the iPad’s role:
In conjunction with replacing paper manuals, Alaska Airlines is exploring the replacement of paper aeronautical navigation charts with electronic versions on the iPad, eliminating the need for every pilot to carry their own copy. The two initiatives, dubbed "Bye, Bye, Flight Bag," will save about 2.4 million pieces of paper.
Costs incurred by these projects are said to be offset by savings achieved in expenditure on paper, print, and distribution.
Fine work iPad – I guess we can say it’s flying high as a pilot’s new best friend.
Though the iPhone’s virtual keyboard has been named one of the best in the business, it still lacks a fairly major feature: haptic feedback. The little vibration that lets you know a key has been pressed is on nearly every other touchscreen smartphone on the market, but not the iPhone.
Luckily we have the jailbreak community to produce apps and tweaks that makeup for iOS shortcomings. Though there have been haptic feedback utilities in Cydia for quite some time now, they’ve never really impressed me. They always seemed to make iOS slower and less reliable, until now…(…) Read the rest of KeyVibrate – Native Haptic Feedback Anyone?

In this day in age, it’s hard to trust anyone anymore. With so many apps like CallerID Faker out there, you can’t really tell who’s who. Luckily, if you are constantly on the receiving end of prank phone calls or telemarketing pitches, there’s an app for that.
While there are several applications that offer similar features, Number Guru seems to be the most adept.
